Attention Runners, Non Runners, and Wanna Be's Get Registered!

Hey Ladies,
All things are possible to those who BELIEVE!! Getting registered is the first step!
You can register here and also look at the course map.

www.burlingtonrunners.com/index.cfm?pagepath=Races/Sulphur_Springs_Trail&id=5711

When you've registered let us know and we'll throw your name on a 'WHOSE IN? List".

Our plan:
We're going to leave Friday night. We'll pile in a few vans and head to Ancaster. Andrea, is going to find us a fabulous CARB filled restaurant, so we can dine together. We'll then head to a hotel, have some laughs and get a good night sleep so we dominate the 10km in the morning.

For those of you who are new to running or haven't run in a LONG time, here's a helpful link to give you some sort of a game plan.

If you have any questions, please connect with either Andrea, Sarah or Myself.

  1. Hey Hey Ladies! Just want to encourage you ladies to join in on this challenge. Heidi and I just ran 5KM tonight in 32 min WOW! Never knew I could do that - key is running partner! We a had a good time and didn't fall (thankfully it wasn't too slippery out) Be sure to post you running journey on here... it will be an encouragement some days and well I'm sure we will look back on some of our rough moments and laugh. Looking forward to sharing this accomplishment together! Love~a~

  3. Some other good training programs are podcasts called
    - PodRunner Intervals with DJ Steve Boyett.
There are programs for zero to 5k and then 5k to 10k. I have used it before and really succeeded!
    - Running Mate Couch to 5k and more!
I am going to start the PodRunner Intervals after January 30th. I have a doctor's appt for my physical and I want to make sure I do this right :)In the mean time, I will begin with walking every morning. I will most likely bring Molly, our black Lab, along with me!
    Thanks for including me :))
